📝 1. Freelance Travel Writer (Canada-Based)

Location: Remote (Canada preferred)
Type: Part-Time / Contract
About the Role:
We’re looking for a talented writer to create compelling waterfall guides, road trip features, and regional travel content. You’ll research destinations, interview locals when needed, and publish SEO-optimized content.

Requirements:

  • Strong writing skills with a portfolio of travel or nature writing
  • Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS
  • Bonus: Experience hiking or visiting Canadian parks and waterfalls

📷 2. Contributing Photographer

Location: Remote + On Location
Type: Freelance
About the Role:
Love capturing waterfalls and wild landscapes? We’re building a visual database of Canada’s waterfalls and need local photographers to contribute high-quality images for editorial and directory use.

Requirements:

  • Own rights to all submitted photos
  • Ability to shoot in natural conditions (hiking, weather, etc.)
  • Basic editing skills and consistent aesthetic
  • Drone photography is a plus!

🌐 3. SEO & Content Optimization Specialist

Location: Remote (Canada or USA)
Type: Part-Time / Freelance
About the Role:
Work closely with our content team to help articles rank on Google. You’ll audit content, suggest structure improvements, optimize metadata, and conduct keyword research to grow organic traffic.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of SEO experience, preferably in travel or directory websites
  • Knowledge of on-page SEO best practices
  • Experience with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or RankMath

🧭 4. Map & Data Research Assistant

Location: Remote
Type: Part-Time / Entry-Level
About the Role:
Help us build and maintain our waterfall database. This includes verifying GPS coordinates, checking access conditions, updating trail details, and ensuring accuracy across listings.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and research ability
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Maps, AllTrails, or provincial park websites
  • Excellent written communication
